Don’t Worry Darling ⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Okay. First of all, Chris Pine and Florence Pugh are magnificent actors, I would love to see him in more antagonistic roles in the future. To be honest the best thing about this film was the acting, the concept is creative, but part of the execution just so lacking.

This film was so frustrating, it felt too much at times but left me with a massive feel like it was lacking something.

I think that a couple minutes more at the end was so needed to properly round off this film. It could have been showing the truth coming out on the news and that would have been great closure. It would have shown some of the women that have woken up, and said that the search for the others is still going on with arrests occurring.

I also think that parts of the original award winning script would have made the film so much more interesting, such as Alice waking up accidentally half way through the film in 2050 something, and reading news articles about her apparent death. Then having to go back into the simulation as Jack was getting home in order to save herself.

See parts of this are so annoying because I don’t think there’s enough of the story there left to make a sequel. It would be too short. Whereas if they finished the film, with the scene of real world jack, showing Alice plugged in. Then they could have made a very juicy sequel.

I just can’t help but feel the entire film was so rushed in production, perhaps that is one of the causes of the drama surrounding the film. I think this because they were initially given a great script, and if they had just sat down and properly thought about the entire concept and story they were telling they would have realised they had enough for TWO high quality films, with tension, captivating thrills and enough time to tell the story properly that would leave closure for those watching. But instead they mushed all the story together and compromised where they didn’t need too.

Frustrating is the word I’d give to this film. Just so frustrating.
