In a thrilling 6-a-side football match between The Groovy Potatoes and Shorthand F.C., The Groovy Potatoes emerged victorious with a final score of 3 – 2. The weather wasn’t the only thing running riot in the first half as we saw Shorthand F.C. dominate, going 2 – 0 up at half time. However, the second half saw a remarkable turnaround from The Spuds who clutched it at the very end.
Shorthand F.C. displayed great promise in their first-ever match together but couldn’t maintain their first-half dominance. The Groovy Potatoes showed resilience in the second half, making a remarkable comeback with three goals.
Unfortunately, the referee’s performance was a point of contention, with several questionable decisions that left both teams frustrated. Despite this, the match was filled with excitement and showcased the potential of Shorthand F.C. for future games.
The heavens were open and it is fair to say that the gods saw a hell of a match.
